After School Clubs
We try to offer a choice of after school clubs at Thurstonland First School and these vary throughout the year. A letter will be sent home to offer your child the opportunity to participate, this should be returned to school before the closing date which will be shown on the initial letter. Should the club be over subscribed names will be drawn out of a hat. You will then be advised by text whether your child has a place, at which point you will be asked to make the required payment (if applicable) via the PARENT PAY website.
Cancellation of club sessions and refunds
Unfortunately there are some occasions where a club session must be cancelled, i.e. poor weather for an outside club, staff/provider illness etc.
Wherever possible we will try to offer an additional session to make up for a cancelled one, however if this is not possible a refund may be made via ParentPay.
The school's aim is to break even on club costs and not to make a profit, therefore refunds cannot be given for missed sessions due to pupil illness, or change of heart/clashes with other events.
